Coles Bay to Schouten Island - A Remote Island Escape

With no human habitation and accessible only by boat, Schouten Island is a tranquil sanctuary well worth exploring.

If you'd like to stay on Schouten Island, there are some camp sites which operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is not possible to reserve a camp site and there's no guarantee a spot will be available when you arrive. It's really important to ensure you are fully prepared for camping in a remote environment with all necessary supplies because there are no facilities available on the island.

Timetable

12:00pm Depart Coles Bay
12:05pm Pick Up Freycinet Lodge
12:30pm Arrive Schouten Island

Guests should ensure they are waiting at the departure point 15 minutes prior to departure.
