Helijet at either the lower Waimakariri braided river or head to the Waimakariri river gorge for a Heli jet boat experience.

 LOWER WAIMAKARIRI BRAIDED RIVER

Enjoy aerial views of Christchurch City before landing on the banks of the Waimakariri River. Waiting for you will be the award-winning Alpine Jet Thrills team, ready to blast you down this magnificent, braided river at speed with their highly trained driver. Experience the sensation of skimming over wet stones. Then it’s back on board the helicopter for the return flight to base.

HELIJET- UPPER WAIMAKARIRI RIVER

Departing our Christchurch base, you will fly low level along the braided shallows and up into the Waimakariri River Gorge to the jetboat base to your waiting Jet Boat. Explore the Waimakariri canyon on a 20 minute adventure following the river as it winds into the foothills of the Southern Alps before winging your way back to our Christchurch Heliport.
