A relaxed way to properly get to know Coonawarra: two nights in our own guest apartment in the heart of Penola, and a full day out on Coonawarra Unearthed, our small group wine tour. It's independent travel with all the thoughtful touches we're known for built in.

Your Apartment

"A Coonawarra Experience" is a private, self-contained one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Penola, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Penola's cafes, galleries and historic sites are all a short walk away.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Penola
Check in and settle into your apartment, with a bottle of Coonawarra wine and Cuvée chocolates waiting for you.

Day 2: Coonawarra Unearthed
Join our full-day small group tour of the terra rossa strip, including a tasting at Wynns Coonawarra Estate and a gourmet platter lunch at Patrick of Coonawarra, with plenty of stories about the people and the soil that make this region what it is.

Day 3: Depart
Check out and continue on your way, or ask us about staying an extra night.
