TOUR DETAILS
Departing Picton, your private Tour of Discovery takes you into Blenheim and the surrounding Marlborough countryside. There is no standard route to follow. Instead, your day can combine the places, flavours, people and landscapes that interest you most.
Perhaps begin among Marlborough's famous vineyards, discover
local artists and producers, explore a beautiful garden, enjoy regional food,
or simply follow the scenery. Your private vehicle and local chauffeur/guide
give you the freedom to experience Marlborough at a relaxed pace.
Marlborough's story extends far beyond wine. Depending on
the season and day of the week, discover roadside produce stalls, local berries
and cherries, artisan foods, Manuka honey, cheeses and small producers. Sunday
visitors may also have the opportunity to explore the local Farmers Market.
Food can be as relaxed or indulgent as you choose — perhaps
a winery restaurant, a cheese platter alongside a tasting, a visit to Makana
Boutique Confections or, in season, a real-fruit Hedgerows ice cream.
Prefer scenery and coastal flavours? Shape your day towards
Havelock and Pelorus, home of the green-lip mussel industry, marina landscapes
and beautiful river scenery.
Or head east towards the Pacific coast, where vineyards meet
farmland and dramatic coastal viewpoints create outstanding photographic stops.
At the conclusion of your tour at approximately 4:30 pm you will be returned to your accommodation in Picton.
Note:When you have made a booking online, you will be contacted by SMS and then by email, if possible, to establish any extras that require advance bookings for your tour day.
However you choose to shape your day, you will leave with a
deeper connection to Marlborough’s people, flavours and landscapes.
